What to Do if You Find Your Missing Card.

If you find your missing FECA card, contact the number on the back of the card to let them know. Depending on timing, they may instruct you to destroy and dispose of the card because the replacement card has already been issued.

How Do You Replace Your Card?

When you report your card lost or stolen, a new card will be sent to you within a few days.

Need a Temporary Card?

If you need a replacement card immediately, you can visit a local branch to get a fully functional instant-issue card. This is a great option if you lost your card right before a big vacation!

What to Do After I Receive My New Card?

  • Safeguard your new card
    Sign the back of the card. Don’t write the card number down anywhere. Only use your card with merchants you trust. Don’t save the card number on any merchant’s websites. Consider connecting your card to the Digital Wallet on your mobile device so you can leave the card at home.
  • Update any linked accounts.
    If your old card was saved with any online merchants, utilities, or recurring subscriptions; you’ll need to provide the new number.
  • Watch your account for any strange transactions.
    Login to your FECA account periodically and check for transactions you didn’t make. For your credit card, login to eZcard services to the same.
  • Review your next statement closely.
    Look closely at your next monthly statement for any unauthorized charges made while your old card was lost. Report these unauthorized charges as soon as possible to limit your liability.
